Very Productive Weekend

At first I didn't think I got much done this weekend, but as I start to write it all down, I think it was pretty productive.   I started of my day first going to a volleyball game and then headed out to soccer.

Then it's time to work.   I got the corbels put on my bar.  They are more for looks, but very pretty.  They match my cabinets.

I spaced them out so that the barstools sit between each one.  Another bar stool goes at the end of the bar.  I'll do that once the floor gets in. 

Then I decided there is no time like the present to get the grout done.  I always procrastinate but then once I get started it's not too bad.  I thought the grout was a white, which is what it says, but it looks more like an ivory.   I'm still happy how it turned out.    So check that off the list.  Grout on the backsplash is done!   Now my screws to put the plug ins are too short so off to Lowes to get longer screws.  Should be able to get all that done next trip.

OMG, I almost forgot.   I had 2 dog houses in the backyard and a dog pen.   I can't imagine Riley every staying in them and honestly they are an eye sore.  First step, get rid of the dog houses.   I advertised on Facebook and had someone coming to buy one.  I told her if she would take them both I would give them to her for FREE.   Can you see how desperate I was to get rid of them.  They are huge and heavy and I'm happy to say she took both of them!

That's all leaves....better get out there and get that all raked up!

OK,  One more thing. I put screens back on my kitchen window and sliding glass door, added the hardware and hung up my stained glass in my kitchen window. 

Happy to have some personal touches being added to my home.  

Ohhhhh....and a few other things.  I went and bought all my appliances.
They will be delivered in a couple of weeks. 

And I cleaned off my front porch.  The contractor kept piling lumber, hardy board and sheetrock.  It looked super tacky but I was worried about moving it.   Decided to clean up the neighborhood....LOL

So I guess you could say it was a very productive weekend.
