What a Clutz!

Well here I sit in urgent care not believing what I have done.   That's right!   I tripped over the dog kennel and my foot got caught in the wires.   I felt like I was watching an episode of the three stooges and I still don't know how this happened.

I was letting Riley out for the final time of the night and when I turn my bare foot hit the kennel.   I then preceeded to get my foot caught in the wires and fall.  I didn't break my foot but it bent the toe back so far it ripped the skin.....I know......WOW DID THAT HURT.  Once I got the bleeding stopped I went to bed and decided to see how I felt in the morning. 

Well end result is I should have gotten stitches but it was too late, it needs to be done withing a few hours,  so they gave me oral antibiotics, antibiotic ointment and a tetnus shot.

Picture doesn't look bad, but the damage is on the bottom of the foot. 

Christmas with the Littles

Gigi and I took a road trip and we enjoyed spending the holidays with the little ones.   Christmas is such excitement when you look at it through the eyes of a child.

Everything Sam opened was followed with "I've been wanting this!"

We got to enjoy some special snuggle time too!

Pizza Tacos

Department Christmas Party

I'd like to introduce the people that I work with.  Sorry to say Sharon didn't get to go with us. We first went to lunch, courtesy of Dan at Hays, then we went to the Nelson Art Gallery, which is where all these photos were taken.  We then went for Happy Hour at Coopers Hawk on the Plaza.   Got to see the Christmas lights and now I remember why I never go down there this time of year.   There were so many people.

Coffee Bar

Well, it's the "in" thing to have a coffee bar so had to give it a try.   We'll see if it lasts.

Downsizing is Hard

So much stuff I have saved over the years.   Now as I have to get rid of I'm asking myself why?  Why did I save.  Well that's ok, makes for fun costumes for the grandkids.

Appliances are Installed

Today they installed the water softner, the filtered water system, sink, garbage disposal, refrigerator, dishwasher and stove.   Wow, so much got done today. 

In one of the pantrys we have the hot water heater, filter system and water softner.
