Mindy ask me to take some pics of her and her sister's family.   Her mom's 70th birthday is in July and this will make a really special gift.

Here's some of the best pics.

To all the special dad's out there.    Happy Father's Day.   Here's a special salute to 4 very special ones.

To my Dad, Happy Father's Day.   Love you and Miss you.

To Stan's Dad.   I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I know we would have loved you.

To my son,  Happy Father's Day.   You were the first to let me enjoy the gift of a grandchild and I thank you every day for that.

Last but not least, Happy Father's Day to my Son In Law Brandon.   Thank you for being such a good daddy to Johanna and Elin.

Notes from a Diary

So,  I was cleaning out some things today and found a diary that I kept notes in.   Thought I would share a few of them with you.  I've also never shared these pictures either, so I'd like to share just a few of them with you.

Stella ask Stan to come by and install the TV converter box on her TV.  We went by there on Sunday around 10am.    Both of us were speechless of what we saw when we walked in.  First of all the door would only open about 1/3 of the way because of all the stuff behind the door.  Once we got in, there was no place for us to stand on any flat surface, let alone sit.

Once we installed the converter box Stan talked to Stella about letting us help her clean the place up.  She agreed that she needed help and it had just gotten out of hand and more than she could handle.  We left with her agreeing that we could come in and help.

On the way home Stan and I discussed and decided that we would take off Monday and Tuesday to get started.  We felt we needed to at least clear a path to the bathroom.  We were worried about her falling and honestly can't believe she hasn't fallen yet.

Here's what we saw when we walked in the door, the first time.

As a side note,   we contacted Aunt Stella's family members and couldn't get any help in our huge undertaking, except from our children.

More diary entries to come.
