 Gifts from Alaska for my little critters bears, wolfs and moose, oh my!

Alaska !

 That's right I finally did it.   My life long dream was to go to Alaska.  My dad had the same dream and never made it so I was determined to go for myself and my dad.   

Alaska did not disappoint.   I could show about 1,000 pictures but I won't.  Went with John, Kathy and Mary and it was a spectacular cruise.  We all are ready to go back.   Here's just a few of our adventures.

This was one of the times that the seas were actually calm.

Very rainy in Sitka, they actually cancelled our boat tour.

Botanica in Victoria BC was so gorgeous.

Relaxed a little and road the bumper cars on the ship.

Breakfast and getting ready for another fun filled adventure.  

Final Project at Mom's

 Had one last project to finish up at mom's and there's no better time than now.   Painted the ramp in the back and put on carpet so it's not slick.

Succulent Garden

 Wanting to add a little something to this boring corner.   Saw this on pinterest so went for it.    Even had a little help from some artists!

This is how it all started. 

Plain boring corner.

Stacked  up some concrete blocks.

Added plants and now I have a succulent garden.

I even tiled the back side so that it was prettier than just concrete blocks.

They say time goes by so fast......boy they weren't kidding.   Can't believe these two are 40.
