Home Remodeling Expo

Had a fun time with Kathy and Bob this weekend going to the Home Remodeling show.  One of the highlights of the day was getting to see Frank from American Pickers.    He was very interesting to listen to.   Did you know that they pitched the idea for their show for 6 years.   Shows that perseverance pays.  I also got a lot of remodeling ideas.   Just wait to see what I do!

Basement Project

My main remodel goal for 2017 is the basement.    We have a minor leak and my goal is to get that fixed.   It's nothing major but it's behind a wall of sheet rock and almost impossible to see where it's coming from.

Well last night my "worker man" helped me rip out the sheet rock.  Thanks Jaxson,  you're the best!

Sheet rock down and I have an appointment with 3 different companies to give me a quote on fixing the leak.   Hope it doesn't blow my remodel budget for the year. 

Beauty School in her future?

Ada loved mommy's new hair cut so decided she would do the same to her hair.   Maybe she'll be a beautician when she grows up.

This is truly an example of turning lemons into lemonade.

Hello my friend......I've missed you!

It's been a long time my friend.  If truth be known, I haven't had too many happy things to blog about.  Don't get me wrong, there have been some great events that have happened in my life, one major one is the birth of my grandson, Samuel,  but it's been a definite year of change

For those of you who don't know,  I would like to first apologize for you finding out this way.   I made a huge decision in my life last year to end my 40 year marriage.   That's pretty much all I'm going to say about it.    I have no regrets and out of my marriage I have three of the most wonderful children that a mom could ever ask for.   They have truly helped me through this long journey.

Here's to a year of change and happiness.
