The Best Christmas Ever

What a wonderful Christmas.   The weather had us a little worried but everything worked out.

We started out the weekend on Friday with Mimi/Gigi watching all 4 kids.   It was a fun and exciting night.  Even Papa got in on the action.

As the shirts say.   We are truly blessed.   Try to get 4 kids to look all the same direction.

Finally

Here's my blessings

#1 Jaxson

#2 Gage

#3 Johanna

#4 Elin

Here I am with my treasures.   Life just doesn't get any better than this.

I can never say no to those precious little faces so they all got to open their stockings.

Next,  time to go watch a movie.......and a little bit of reading books.

Next morning was going to Great Grandmas.   Problem was the weather forecast.   Ice predicted.  We made a decision to move everything up an hour or two.   We all hustled around and were at Great Grandmas by 10:30.  Original plan was between 12-1.

It was great to see everyone.  We missed John Abernathy who is in our prayers.  His mom is dying from Lung Cancer and he is being the perfect son taking care of her.    Alicia and Rich were afraid of the ice storm and didn't make it.   Dan was not available either.   Other than that, every one was there.   Christmas is so much fun with little ones.

Christmas at Great Grandmas

Aunt Mary made some cool hats.

Even Brad was there with us!

It started raining and we were really worried about the ice so we gathered up all of our goodies, said our goodbyes and headed home.   Weather was a little slick but I think we got home just in time.    Jeff and Mindy decided to pack their bags too so we had a big slumber party.   All three kids home, with their awesome spouses and all my grandkids.  I know I sound like a broken record, but it just doesn't get any better than this.    We all sat around and caught up on life.....then had turkey and boiled shrimp for dinner.

Somebody got a new camera!

Mommy painted Johanna's toe nails!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.
