I have been eyeing these shrubs for the back of the fence line. I wanted something easy to maintain and give the fence some dimension. I helped my friend Kris tile her bathroom and she bought me these beautiful shrubs. She's knows I've been wanting them. Thanks Kris.
Starting the project of putting in a garden pond. I had one at my old house but I didn't like the fact that I had to get on my hands and knees to work on the pond. My solution was to build it up. I put 2 rows of concrete blocks and then put in the pond. It's still a work in process but it's got water!
I'm done with the interior and the last year has been the exterior. Now to put the finishing touches on. A new patio set with a fire pit.
Now that the trailer is gone and sold it's time to finish up the privacy fence.
Wow, that was fast, and the majority of the time was waiting for the gates to be built. I love it!
We are in a severe drought and really need the rain. Don't really need the hail but I guess we take moisture as we can get it. Hail didn't do any major damage but did a number on all my plants.
All I can say is at least we got some moisture.
This was the best of the best weekend. Mom's 89th Birthday, celebrating John's retirement and finally I retired.
I loved the cedar planter box the guy off of Facebook made so I ordered cedar shutters for mom's house. Dresses it up a little and it looks so nice.
Well I finally made the decision. I'm getting rid of trailer. Several reasons that I'm doing this is #1, analyzing sales I'm changing my business strategy, #2, I can finish the fencing if the trailer is gone.
It looks so much bigger with the trailer gone. Now to put every thing away.
Helping a friend tile her bathroom. I gotta say this was a little out of my comfort zone but it turned out great. We tiled the floor, shower and even the ceiling in the shower.
It's official, no more tiling, I'm retiring from tile!
Starting to work on the exterior of the house. Purchased these custom made cedar flower boxes off of Facebook. Love how they turned out.
Well better late than never. We miss Mike and Erin being here but were finally able to celebrate Christmas with Jeff's family. Everyone is healthy and it's so good to have all the kids together.

Happy New Year. It's a tradition called winching to go visit family and kids receive coins. Gigi was ready and each one got a 50 cent piece.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours. Christmas is a little low key this year and we had to cancel Jeff and his family coming down because we had a case of COVID.
