New Planter Boxes

 Starting to work on the exterior of the house.  Purchased these custom made cedar flower boxes off of Facebook.  Love how they turned out.

Celebrating Christmas

 Well better late than never.  We miss Mike and Erin being here but were finally able to celebrate Christmas with Jeff's family.  Everyone is healthy and it's so good to have all the kids together.

 Happy New Year.   It's a tradition called winching to go visit family and kids receive coins.  Gigi was ready and each one got a 50 cent piece.  

They even learned how to say Happy New Year in German!

Merry Christmas

 Merry Christmas from my family to yours.   Christmas is a little low key this year and we had to cancel Jeff and his family coming down because we had a case of COVID.

Introducing Gracy Lou

 I've been considering for a while adding to my family.  Gordon needs a friend to run around and keep him busy.  Today Ada and Elin went on a road trip with me to pick up our newest family member.  Meet Gracy Lou, a miniature Australian Shepherd.

 Since Elin's  birthday is in December, it's a cold and crazy time of the year but we made sure and had a special lunch scheduled at the Blue Hook.

Ada's Adventure

 For Ada's birthday adventure we went to Nickerson Exotic Farm.   It was so much fun.  I know she really enjoyed it and I loved the kangaroos.  I've never been so close to these animals and the kangaroos are so soft and sweet.

It's Fence Time

 The hardest thing I've had adjusting to is living in the city with neighbors.  I miss my privacy living in the middle of 14 acres.   Well there's only one way to remedy that.   Privacy Fence!

The first step was to move the trailer.   It would be in the way of the fence and when I do decide to sell it will be too hard to get out so I moved it in a more convenient place so the fence building could begin.

Time to get to work.

Posts were up in no time at all.  Took them less than a week to do it all.

Everything is done except the back fence.   I need to wait on that until I decide that I'm ready to get rid of the camper.

Time for a Porch Facelift

 Finally have the energy and time to work on give the porches a facelift.   Now that the concrete work is all done it's time to make the porches pretty.

I love how it turned out.   Bought the theatre bench off of Facebook and it's perfect for the porch.

Now that the front porch is done it's time to do the back.  Had left over tile from the kitchen and it worked out perfect for the back porches.
