Missing Mommy

It's very difficult for a 19 month old to understand where mommy is.   Elin is really missing mommy.  It doesn't help that she's not feeling well.

***Update*** Elin has a virus and has to be kept away from the new baby.    They are hoping 24 hours on antibiotics and then they can be back together.   Grandma Neene is a life saver and Elin had her first overnighter.

She made her grand entrance into the world on Friday June 27.   7.55 am weighing in at 7 lbs 1.2oz.  19.5" long.

Jaxson had the opportunity to play with another team this weekend.   Super exciting ballgames.   They won it all.   4-0 and Champions for the tournament.    I don't think Jeff could have ask for a better Father's Day present.

Congratulations Jackie

I'd like to tell you how very proud of this young lady we are.   Her Dad and I are busting at the seams with pride.   Not many women could do what she has done.   She started this journey 4 years ago when she was accepted into the Nurse Practitioners Program at Fort Hays University.    While working, going through 3 pregnancies and 2 children, and another one due July 1 she has completed all the requirements to graduate with her Masters and pursue her career as a nurse practitioner.    Jackie,  we are so very very proud of you.

I am so ready to be done.   I had one of my machine lock up on me during the stitching so I'm patiently waiting on it and having the other one run non stop.      I am almost ready to deliver.

I have been blessed to be the daughter of such a wonderful, beautiful woman.    Thanks for everything mom, and making me the person that I am today.  Here's one of my favorite pictures of mom and I.   She made our outfits!   Now you see where I get my crafty talent from.

Ready for Birthday Girl

I finished up a quick quilt for Johanna's birthday.   Tied instead of quilted but it's still a cute quilt.   Her 3rd birthday is this week, hope she loves it.

Our deck guy, Tommy finished the Pergola today.   Turned out great.   Now to let the wood dry out a bit and then stain everything.

The Last Roll

It's been 5 years since Aunt Stella's stroke and death.   She has been a good supplier for us, but tonight I opened the last roll of aluminum foil!

Mommy, Johanna and Elin took a little trip to the zoo.   Looks like they were all tuckered out.

Sissy

Well,  the last of our goats has died.   Sissy had to be 200 in goat years.  Books say they live 10-12 years, she lived 19.   Crazy I know.

Well wanted to let everyone know that Sissy our last goat died this week.
