Another great find

Well I don't think Stan and Jeff think that after they helped me set it up.

Let me set the stage......You know HornMart, that's my little store.   Well I hate that people can still see in and check out our equipment.   It's a safety issue and also,  we've worked hard to learn our trade.   We don't like people seeing what we do and how we do it.   We've been burned twice.   So,  I've been trying to figure out how I can make a temporary wall.

Well,  at the beginning of the summer I saw this really cool cabinet, and I gotta tell you, it was massive.   It was exactly what I was looking for.    It was also a hefty price.   Well,  went to the same garage sale yesterday and he was a lot more negotiable on the price.   He's moving and it's heavy.  He didn't want to move it again.    Got it loaded up in the truck,  with the help of 2 other guys and then the predicament was,  how to get it out.   We got it out, Stan and I but it's in 2 pieces and there was no way that Stan and I could lift the top and set it on the bottom.

In steps our super hero son Jeff to the rescue.  With his muscles along with Stan and I we got it set up.   Now all I need to do is fill in the hole, I have some ideas, and we are good to go.

Isn't it perfect.

Look at all the storage.   I can't wait to organize and get everything cleaned up.   I'll take pics and share as soon as I do.    Thanks again Jeffy.

Ok,  got the center filled in.   Now to get busy cleaning and getting it filled and organized.

Wheeling.....Dealing Stan

Ok,  here's Stan's latest trade.  For an ATV.  Really,  how many cars does one family need.  We are starting to look like Stan's Used Car Emporium.   Well, we do have 2 cars for sale.

Any way,  here's his latest deal.  Stan has always wanted one of these, so I guess it's ok.  :)   Oh,  and he hasn't had a chance to wash it yet so it's covered in dust.  

My Little Red Wagone

Guess what I got ......that's right.   A new, little red wagon.   Here she is.  OK,  it's not orange, it a really bright red.  I LOVE IT!

It's a Toyota Prius C Two, which is a Hybrid.   Today going to work I got 51.3 miles per gallon.  Whoo hooo,  you know what that means......yep   mo money, mo money, mo money!

Happy Anniversary

Today Stan and I celebrate 37 years of wedded bliss.   When 34 wonderful years as he says.   That number seems to me going down lately :(.......just kidding.     Some days I'd like to shoot him and other days, he'd like to shoot me, but I married my best friend and the best is yet to come!

Today is the Twins' birthday.   Can't believe it has been 31 wonderful, fun filled, always exciting years.  WOW, time does fly when you are having fun.

We were lucky to be able to be in Minnesota this year and see Michael in person on his birthday.....missing Jackie very much though.

Timmy

Last night we lost the little old man of the group.   Little Timmy went peacefully in his sleep.   Timbo as we liked to call him was around 16 years old.   We don't know the exact age since he was dumped and our daughter in law Mindy found him on the highway, around 11 years ago.    The vet guessed him to be at least 5 when he was found.

Timmy could be a little stinker, but it was very obvious to us that he was happy to be a part of our family.
