I know, I know I'm a slob. It happens especially when I get towards the end of a project and I'm tired and just want it done. Today it was time to clean up all the mess and get ready for flooring and then grout.

Day 5 - Walls are done
Finally, I have all 4 walls done. Ok, for those of you that I work with, don't laugh. It looks just like the bathroom in my building at work. But I loved it and isn't copying the best form of flattery.

Day 4 - Bathroom
The never ending bathroom remodel. Day 4 and still trudging along. I did have to place an order with Floor and Decor for curb side pickup. I'll get that tomorrow and be able to finish up, hopefully.

Bathroom - Day 3
And the saga continues. Another wall done. Sure will be glad when this is all done. Good news is the next wall is a straight shot and then the wall with a door. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Bathroom - Day 2
ok, the hard part was done so I tackled the wall. Got 1 wall done....well almost. I still have the border to put on the top.
Fist row up finally!
ok, not totally done with first wall. I ran out of adhesive and didn't want to mix more glue.

Bathroom - Day 1
I finally decided that the bathroom tile isn't going to get done on it's own. With the state lockdown I've been home for 4 weeks and haven't even thought about starting it. Well, I've been thinking about it but no action.
Well day 1 I got the cut outs done. Whos idea was it to add 2 cutouts. These were a geniue pain to tile and it didn't help that I was using small hexi tiles. Well, took me most of the day of they are done.

New Roof
One thing I wanted to accomplish while I was "working from home" in Pratt was to get my new roof installed. I had hail damage back in September and they wanted to wait until spring to install. The shingles were special order so they ordered them and they came in on Tuesday.
They started working on Wednesday.
I was a little concerned because rain was expected Thursday night.
I shouldn't have worried. I've never seen people work so fast.
Roof is finished and just in time. Looks like storm clouds coming in.

Helping the Cause
COVID-19.....the dreaded word. In would have ever thought we would see anything like this in our lifetime. The girls may be out of school but they are learning a valuable lesson on helping others. They sewed and sewed and sewed making masks. They want to be sure and protect their mommy and daddy and others. We ended up completing 40 and sending them up to the hospital.

Floor is Done
Well, it's almost done. We still need to do the thresholds and some of the trim but Brandon did a fantastic job. I returned the wood floor and went with luxury vinyl planks and I love how it turned out.

Povitica
I've always wanted to learn and there was a local store having classes. This was so much fun and I hope to start a tradition with my grandchildren of making povitica.
The finished masterpieces.

Painting Again
I did some rearranging of rooms. I first decided to move the bedroom to the smaller room. Mom, when you move in, I'll give you back the bigger room. Started off with first painting the ceiling....I HATE PAINTING CEILINGS.
Two coats of ceiling paint and another room is done.
Next was painting the walls and getting rid of that awful green. I chose Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray and I love it. Very calming.
This is my finished sewing room. I still need to hem the curtains but that's for another day.

Sammy's Quilt is Finally Finished
Well almost....it still needs binding but I will get that done this week. I'm so excited. It only took me 3 1/2 years, but in my defense during that time I got divorced and moved 4 times....so I've been a little distracted. I love how it turned out and hopefully he treasures it forever.

I love the Green!
Ok, my daughter is pushing me to step out of my comfort zone with colors and I love it. I went with TeePee Green and it deep and rich. Makes the family room feel very cozy, which is exactly what I was wanting.

Finally finished the ceiling in the family room!

Moving and Snow
My plan this week was to make several trips so that I could get some items moved to the house. Snow decided to move in so that thwarted my plans. 6" that started on Tuesday. At least it was pretty and I got a lot done around the house.
I did discover one thing when I was snowed in. I need to stock the fridge.
Margarita mix just doesn't do it!

Lemons
Lemons are very sweet....No? I guess it's just how you look at life!
I love the bright happy color of lemons and have decided to accent my kitchen with them.
Jackie's family got me this adorable sign. It works perfect above the sink.
My daughter also got me 2 of these towels. I actually "borrowed" the one in the middle. It was supposted to be a gift to Jackie from Gigi but I saw it first. I really don't think she'll mind.
This was a gift from Jeff's family several years ago.
They know me so well!
I need to find some smaller lemons for this miniature colander but it works for now.
